    What is better - laminate, vinyl, or parquet?
    It depends on where the flooring will be installed and what you like. Laminate and vinyl/spc are more durable, while parquet, like all natural materials, is more sensitive to operating conditions. Parquet is better suited for living rooms - bedroom, living room. Corridor, kitchen - not desirable, bathrooms - not allowed.
    When to order?
    Parquet flooring, like all other floor coverings for living rooms, is laid at the very end of the renovation, after all wet work, but before installing the doors.The lead time for an order is 2.5 months, so you need to proceed from the stage of your renovation and our production time.
    What do you need to buy to install parquet flooring?
    If you have chosen a tongue-and-groove flooring, you will need a primer for the base (floor screed or plywood base) and glue for the parquet board. If your flooring option is a click joint, you will need to purchase a special underlayment. It can be a cork underlayment or a so-called "silent walk" on the basis of a fiberboard. Both the underlayment and the parquet board are laid in a floating way without gluing.
    Can I install the parquet flooring myself?
    It is possible, but not advisable. It is better to invite craftsmen who work with parquet flooring and have experience with natural wood. Attention: Tilers, door installers, and other generalists in construction and repair work may not have sufficient knowledge and experience in working with parquet flooring, and their involvement in laying parquet boards may have unpleasant consequences.

For each of the three layers of the parquet board, you can use different types of wood and different quality - from dry pine with bark (hidden in invisible layers) to vacuum-dried oak. An imported product will always be more expensive because of the costs of importation and customs clearance. Also, the use of a variety of board coatings - there are many different oils and varnishes on the market and their prices are also different.

The principle is simple: to the area to be covered, add the amount of board that will be used to cut corners, ledges, columns, pipes and other points during installation. This varies depending on the board format and installation method and ranges from 5% to 15%. However, to calculate the exact amount, it is better to contact a master who will assess the condition of the subfloor and the room as a whole and calculate the required amount of material.
    What if I still have the board?
    If craftsmen manage to minimize the cost of trimming and culling the board and have a few strips left over, they should be saved in case spot repairs are needed, in case one of the strips gets damaged during use and needs to be replaced.
    What if I want my own board color?
    We have a color matching service. To do this, you need a reference point - a piece of material whose color you plan to copy - tiles, a fragment of a door trim, a skirting board, a fragment of wallpaper, a paint swatch, etc. We send this material to production, select a color, make a stain, and coordinate it with you.
